Rasmussen Reports Shows Steelman Maintaining Her Strong Lead

Campaign Release
Rolla, MO -- Today, Rasmussen Reports released their latest statewide survey of Likely Voters in Missouri showing U.S. Senate candidate Sarah Steelman with a 12 point lead over incumbent Sen. Claire McCaskill, 51% to 39%. Steelman has maintained the strong lead established in April's Rasmussen Report and also maintains the strongest lead of the three Republican primary candidates.
"Again we see the Rasmussen data reflecting what people tell me at every campaign event. Taxpayers are tired of Sen. McCaskill's support for President Obama's failed economic policies and they want real change. The other candidates may talk about reform in vague terms but I have consistently laid out real, step-by-step solutions," said Steelman.
The Missouri survey of 500 Likely Voters was conducted on June 7, 2012 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 4.5 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
